“ AKABANGA it might be called in Rwanda but its still made out of Hot Scotch Bonnet Peppers I say. Strange that there is a Japanese connection as normally the Chinese tend to do African food exports such as palm oil.

WHAT IT IS? AKABANGA is a Rwandan hotsauce that the Japanese apparently import and that my friend Paul Roberts brings back to the UK from his business trips. We love it!
